Official Recognition for Greek Language Proficiency

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Certificate of Attainment in Greek, or Ellinomatheia, is the official Greek language certification issued by the Greek Ministry of Education and administered by the Centre for the Greek Language. It is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and is recognized internationally.

• Exam Dates: Monday May 18th (A1-B1, C1), Tuesday may 19th (A2-B2)
• Cost: $280 check made out to the Denver School of Modern Greek

My name is Effrosyni and I have been with the Denver School of Modern Greek since 2014. I have been teaching since 2007, with experience in both Greece and the United States. I hold a bachelors degree in Pedagogy from the University of Ioannina in Greece, along with certifications in teching Greek as a second language. Additionally, I have received training in both teaching and coordinating classes for adults and primary school students. Teaching is not just my profession - it's my passion. I'm deeply committed to helping my students succeed, and their progress is my greatest motivation.

EXAM FEES

The exam fee ranges from $275–$300, depending on the level. A discount is available if taking two level tests.

Notes

Payment is due by the registration deadline

Incomplete payments will result in cancellation after 15 days

Payment goes to The Denver School of Modern Greek, not the testing center
